Sensory Analysis Training Kits
The Sensory Kits are for the United States military purchse only.
Introductory Kit
The Introductory Kit provides examples of how visual cues affect expectation of flavor, how to separate aroma from basic tastes, and the effect of caramelization when roasting Spanish peanuts. Kits include packets of premeasured references for salty, sweet, sour and bitter tastes, fruit punch, cinnamon/sugar blend, coded sample cups with lids and taster spoons. A CD includes all preparation instructions and training exercise sheets. All you provide is bottled water and mixing bowls!
Descriptive Analysis Basic Reference Kit
The Descriptive Analysis Basic Reference Kit is a collection of odor references used to train a group of panelists. Developing a common language based on common experience is like tuning the orchestra to a single note. Each player hears the same note and each tunes his instrument to match that note. A sensory panel operates in the same manner. Each panelist sniffs the same references and applies the same term to those references so that there is a common understanding of what the term means.
Orders must be received a minimum of three weeks before your training date.
