Cat Food

In the early days of the company, I developed a deep reverence for the telephone. Every ring heralded potential new opportunities for growth. One day, my tech announced a caller from Canada. With a silent thrill as I envisioned of launching into the international business arena, I took the call.
“Do you test cat food?” my caller asked?
I settled into my standard litany of questions, the first being what was the objective of his study.
“The company that makes my cat food has gone out of business,” he replied. “I need someone to tell me what it tastes like so I can find another cat food that tastes the same. I have a very picky cat”.
I declined to bid on the project.
